About The Breed:
Toy Poodles

Toy Poodles are the smallest variety of the Poodle breed, known for their intelligence, affectionate personality, and charming appearance. Typically standing under 10 inches tall and weighing between 3 and 10 pounds, Toy Poodles are compact companion dogs that fit comfortably into many types of living environments. Despite their small size, they carry the same intelligence and lively spirit that Poodles are famous for.
Compared to Miniature Poodles, Toy Poodles are noticeably smaller and more delicate. While Miniature Poodles tend to be slightly more energetic and sturdy, Toy Poodles are often more focused on companionship and closeness with their owners. Their smaller frame makes them ideal lap dogs and loyal companions, but they still enjoy playtime, short walks, and learning new tricks.
Toy Poodles are extremely intelligent and quick learners. They respond well to positive training and enjoy activities that stimulate their minds. Because of their people-oriented nature, they tend to form strong bonds with their owners and thrive when included in daily routines.
Their social personality also allows them to adapt well to homes with other pets when introduced properly. Toy Poodles are naturally curious and attentive, and with early socialization they can coexist comfortably with other dogs and household animals. Due to their small size, they often do best in homes where interactions with larger pets and young children are supervised.
Like all Poodles, Toy Poodles have a curly coat that sheds very little. This low-shedding coat is one reason many families are drawn to the breed. Regular grooming helps keep their coat healthy and prevents matting.
Toy Poodles are best known for their loving nature and close attachment to their families. Their combination of intelligence, loyalty, and compact size makes them wonderful companions for those looking for a small dog with a big personality.
