Dogs have been my constant companions since childhood—I was the kid who brought every “lost” critter home, convinced my parents to love them, and turned that devotion into a lifelong calling. I bred family pets back in the early 2000s, pressed pause to raise my children, and returned to the craft once health-testing, DNA panels, and color-genetics science gave ethical breeders a sharper tool kit.
